Silent on the Moor by Deanna Raybourn: a review
Silent On The Moor by Deanna Raybourn Despite his admonitions to stay away, Lady Julia arrives in Yorkshire to find Brisbane as remote and maddeningly attractive as ever. Cloistered together, they share the moldering house with the proud but impoverished remnants of an ancient family—the sort that keeps their bloodline pure and their secrets close. Lady Allenby and her daughters, dependent upon Brisbane and devastated by their fall in society, seem adrift on the moor winds, powerless to change their fortunes. But poison does not discriminate between classes…. A mystery unfolds from the rotten heart of Grimsgrave, one Lady Julia may have to solve alone, as Brisbane appears inextricably tangled…

Denise Vega’s graceful, rhythmic dialogue combine with stunning art from Hula Lullaby‘s Erin Eitter Kono to tackle a tough subject with a graceful and spiritual touch. My review rating: 4 of 5 starsSimply by looking at the cover, you know that this book has interesting artistry. Baby Fund – Target, Graco, and more…
Holy Goodness! When was the last time you looked at the prices of baby stuff? Just FYI, if you missed the memo. I am 14 weeks and almost two days pregnant! Yay!! We are so excited and just starting to look around at the things we will need. It is completely shocking to find out the prices of the crib, pack ‘n play, high chair, swing, car seat, stroller, glider, and on and on. For the most part, I have found the things that I want, most on the really inexpensive side, but they are still a huge dent to our budget… So I figured, I would put a button…

Hydrangea Bag Quilt project Finished!
Ahh.. *sigh* I can finally sigh relief because this blasted project is finished and now I can get onto the next thing! Woohoo!!! A while back, my friend took me to Dragonfly Quilt Shop, that was new to me and absolutely fabulous. There were many fabric lines that I had been unable to find elsewhere, and if the shop was not such a drive, I would go much more often. While there, I purchased a pattern and material to make this bag and I was so excited. It says that it is “carry-on” rated, and I was going in a few weeks to help my sister after the birth of…
