Blabla Kids Schoolbook Rattles

Every once in a while you find that toy that makes you (as a mama) squeal and say “Must have!!” That is how I felt when I first saw Blabla Kids Rattles. They are too cute and I am completely in love! I was delighted to find out that Blabla Kids is located in my home town of Atlanta, Georgia and that’s only one of dozens of great things putting them in my favor. Ever since I can remember I have kept my eyes open for that cutest toy for a future child. After AppleBlossom was born that desire did not change. As a matter of fact the only thing that did change with that is that when I bought said cute toy, I no longer had a guilt of buying it for the future. (Just ask my how much yardage of fabrics I bought with lambs on it before. . .

Allon by Shawn Lamb

Allon is a neat fantasy story that gives great detail about the power of faith. It is reminiscent to me of Prince Caspian for some reason, although I cannot quite put my finger onto what exactly. There is suspense, romance and battle scenarios. This was not a favorite read for me, but it may quite be the book your teen is looking for in a fantasy fiction. I must admit that I love the trailer and the interactive website, they are awesome.

Past Review Organization

Here’s a question for my fellow bloggy buddies. How do you organize your past reviews for people to go back and see them? When I was at my blogspot Creative Madness that Makes Me Myself, I just had a links widget that went to an individual post that listed all of my reviews divided by genre. Or you may remember my navigational buttons. Things are a little different here with Categories dividing things up a little bit like tags, but they are listed like navigational tabs. What do you do? Are you happy with your method? Have any ideas or suggestions for me?

Oh Plah! Teething Cuff

Lately whenever people ask, “How is AppleBlossom?” The first thing out of my mouth is always a three word answer. “She is teething.” That pretty much sums it up. It explains the sleepless nights, early mornings, whiny afternoons, extra cuddly snuggles, non committal fidgets, crazy sloppy kisses, multiple dress changes from a soaked front, no appetite to famished and absolutely adorable partial toofie smiles. And then of course, so much more. As you can imagine, she wants to munch on everything. Paper especially, but that’s a tale for another day. One of the hardest things is finding something that she is happy to chew on for a while. Something to ease her pain and bring the slightest bit of distraction as well as entertainment. As I mentioned before, we love our RiNGLEY! Yet now I have also discovered something new and fabulous, simply Oh Plah! bend twist roll bite play. . .
