It’s spring cleaning time at the Bear family’s tree house. Brother, Sister, and Honey are assigned the task of cleaning out their old playhouse. But it’s a beautiful spring day and Brother and Sister are easily distracted. They learn the importance of sticking to a job and getting it well and truly done. Written and illustrated by renowned authors Jan and Mike Berenstain, Berenstain Bears and a Job Well Done extends the popular Berenstain Bear series with this easy to read and understand story with a strong Christian message for young readers and their families.

I love the Berenstain Bears books from my childhood and I am so happy that they are continuing the legacy into the childhood of my own daughter. The Berenstain Bears and a Job Well Done is a great little story to help instill the values and importance of chores and accomplishments. Brother and Sister Bear want to have fun, but learning how much more fun they could have once the job is done is a great thing.

I hope the Berenstain Bears stories never end.

As an Assistant Director to FIRST, I can tell you that I have personally enjoyed our tours for years. I am always excited to see what authors will be offered up next. A Wild Card post includes a brief bio of the author and a full chapter from each book toured.

The reason it is called a FIRST Wild Card Tour is that you never know if the book will be fiction, non~fiction, for young, or for old…or for somewhere in between!

I hope you enjoyed your free peek into the book!
