This is the cutest storybook Bible for girls that I have seen yet. I do love the God’s Little Princess Devotional Bible: Bible Storybook, but this one is even more colorful and pretty. Written using scripture from the New International Reader’s Version this is very clear and understandable for young ladies to learn just how much God loves them. In addition to the scripture and Biblical stories there are “sweet thoughts” and “sweet words” with each section to make the story more real and applicable. Recommended for ages 4-7 I think this could be read to girls younger, but definitely find this age range appropriate.
The artistry is very colorful and pretty, that’s really the best word to describe it. I would definitely be willing to buy this for my nieces and my daughter when she’s older. Oh, and the pink gilded edges are gorgeous and make it quite fancy.

Sheila began her career as a designer and painter for Hallmark, Inc. Later, she became a featured designer at Will Vinton Studios. Formerly published under the name Sheila Lucas, Sheila Bailey has been writing and illustrating children’s literature for more than a decade.
