More Pink and Purple Please!!!

Life is slowly calming down… We closed on our house 3/18 and moving took a few weeks. We are fully in our new house and hopefully our former rental has a new tenant so we’ll be done with that!

20 weeks pregnant, with a 20 month old helper. We just found out it’s another girl! So I’m in the market for internet nicknames. As you may know, I’m CherryBlossomMJ, my toddler is AppleBlossom and my husband is the Enginerd. So what ____Blossom suggestions do you have for our new addition?

We got internet back on March 24th, but then we’ve had a few days here and there without power that has really slowed me down with the blog… and it’s storming today… so until I can get a special serge protector I’m a little worrisome about being online too long. (Macs don’t take kindly to power outages…)

So it’s a girl! The announcement is official. We now have a first name picked out. Nope, I’m not telling yet… although if you privately email me… *wink* We’re still in the search for middle names…

I’m waiting on my order of a newborn prefold kit from Diaper Junction with Diaper Rite prefolds and Bummis covers. Also an XS wool cover from A Small Green Footprint. I’m so excited to discover that coming April 24th Graco has come out with a new Classic Pooh design and a high chair! We have a swing and pack ‘n play in their 2009 Classic Pooh design, but that was all they had then, so I’m excited about finally getting a high chair!!! The only place I’ve seen it for sale so far is on Amazon. So we’ll see!!

Because AppleBlossom was born at the end of July, and baby girl #2 is due in August (AppleBlossom was due mid-August, #2 is due late-August) there is a very good chance that the seasonal clothes will be a perfect fit! Do you have any idea how exciting that is! It will save a bundle of money. (Are you listening Enginerd? Nope, he doesn’t read Creative Madness Mama… LOL)

Here’s a couple questions. Have you ever tried?

Milk Savers?
Delivery Gowns?

I’m pretty set on maternity clothes, although I have a bigger belly this time around… hmm… Nursing clothes are good. Right season and everything. 🙂

I’m trying to work on getting the nursery together. Still seeking out Classic Pooh items and fabric. Since nobody seems to sell them anymore (JoAnn’s Fabric used to have CP fabric and Target used to have “stuff” but their licenses expired). I have seen on Amazon that Kid’s Preferred has some stuffed animals and toys, but have yet to see them sold anywhere else. So let me know if you do!!

We’re good on the normal stuff, like diaper bags, crib sheets and most clothing sizes 18 months and smaller (AppleBlossom at 20 months is just now starting to wear 18 month clothes). I’ve order some newborn diapers to get us started. (We couldn’t start off the bat with what we had for AppleBlossom because they were too big, we had to wait a few weeks). I still would like to get some GroVia AIO Newborn diapers and some print covers, but other than that I’m a happy camper. Oh, I’d love to get some fitted newborn diapers from Woollybums or Kissaluvs, but we’ll have to see about the budget on that.

Since we’re new to this area. I doubt we’ll have a shower, because I don’t know anyone to throw one… but I still have a registry if anyone’s interested. You can find it on Amazon, but almost most everything is at Diaper Junction.

Basically this is an excited thinking out loud post, so hopefully it was partially entertaining!! LOL
