Once upon a time there was a graceful mouseling ballerina who loved to dance, and put on magical performances with her friends. Her royal mouse-ness is back doing what she does best – charming and entertaining aspiring young dancers – in Angelina Ballerina™: Ballerina Princess, a new, five-episode collection on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand March 6, 2012 from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment.  Leap into the fun as everyone’s favorite dancing mouseling tracks a mysterious tutu, learns that every role is important, uses creativity and dance to tell a story and more!

As AppleBlossom is getting to an age where she can actually sit and watch and enjoy a television show we are trying to choose well on where she spends her time. Where mostly she watches something to give me a moment with OrangeBlossom, sometimes we all watch and snuggle. With Angelina Ballerina I have found that all three of us girls can sit and watch about the Ballerina Princess and several other fun episodes. This show is cute and the accents bring up a great conversation and I wouldn’t have it any other way that this was her introduction to ballerinas. Now she is quite excited about them and just yesterday was twirling around and told me she was dancing like a ballerina. From my two, not quite three year old that is priceless!

In Angelina’s Big Part, we get to learn about the excitement and nervousness that follows a big responsibility and the surprises that come. Then in Angelina and Polly’s Two Hour Show we get to see the girls try to take care of their parents and learn a great (and valuable!!) lesson. On to Angelina’s Fancy Tutu, where the sisters venture out on an adventure to solve a mystery. They pick up clues and go from one option to another until they discover the truth. Jumping in to two more episodes featuring the boy’s in the ballet class we get to have a Carnival and then even learn about an Indian fairy tale! So much fun packed into a great DVD that already we have watched over and over again. It it the first one requested when we’re off for some quiet time on the couch (the rare moments, we’re not reading!). We’ll definitely be looking for more Angelina Ballerina to add to our DVD collection in the future! At this time you can also find it on digital download and on demand, so whatever you preference go get it!
