What made you interested in writing Christian Historical Fiction? Do you write any other genres? I wasn’t interested in writing. Between working as an occupational therapist, raising two children, and moving frequently for my husband’s career, I didn’t have a moment to spare, much less give to an all-consuming profession like writing. Then a folk song about a mail-order bride meeting her husband sparked a story that would not be denied. My mother is a Virginia history librarian, so I wasn’t completely unprepared to write historical fiction. I have a few contemporary romances looking for a publisher, too.
