..picking peaches in the orchard..

Today I didn’t have a camera with me, but it would have been fun if I had. We went to a peach orchard and picked peaches right off the tree. I’ve never done anything like that, but I was always wanting to and now we have. It was just me and the girls as the Enginerd is doing his engineering thing being a work day and all. Perhaps I might break free of this hermitage after all! LOL 😉

All around we had fun, but it was great to get together with some local moms from the church where our membership is at. Perhaps there is hope for a social life there after all.

OrangeBlossom was in the Boba carrier and AppleBlossom was running free, well eventually she was running. She was mostly timid, but she did get to climb a tree! All around great memories I’m sure. Next time I’ll take a camera. We have a small bushel of peaches now. Not quite ripe yet, but not far off. They said this was the very last of the season. So, any ideas what we should do with them? Peach cobbler of course, but I have plenty more for other ideas… Ohh… on pancakes? Why does that suddenly appeal? Hmmm… I have some gluten free pancake mix that was pretty good from when SisterB was here. I’ll fix some of those in her honor. Hmm… Any other ideas?!?
