What did Santa leave for Baby?
Let’s go in and see . . .This sweet rhyming story from 1959, illustrated by Eloise Wilkin, shows the presents that Santa brought for Baby’s first Christmas–“. . . a rocking horse, a bouncy swing, a shovel and a pail, a rubber duck, a little boat for Baby dear to sail. . .”
Babies will love to watch this adorable baby playing with his toys and enjoying his first Christmas! And parents will love the sturdy pages and padded cover of the Golden Baby board books.
This is really cute! I’ve known about Golden Books and have several from my own childhood that I share with my daughters. I did not however know about the Golden Baby Board Books until I came across this ARC. Definitely going to be looking for this one and others in the future!
Christmas is a special time of year and learning about what the presents are and things that occur is a great theme for a little board book. While this baby in the book surely racked it all up and not everyone’s Christmas Tree will be as affluent it is fun to read.
*Thanks to Random House for loaning me an electronic copy for review.*
