Peepsqueak is back-and this time, he’s searching high and low for a new friend.

The sun comes up and the animals on the farm are ready to play-two by two, they skip and flutter out into the barnyard. But little Peepsqueak is just one! If he can’t find a friend on the farm, he’ll just have to search in the woods, too. But what if little Peepsqueak finds a big, BIG friend?

Leslie Ann Clark is back with another bright and colorful Peepsqueak adventure. Young picture book readers will root for the adorable little chick with a big heart.

While I have yet to read Peepsqueak! after reading an advanced copy of Peepsqueak Wants a Friend I think I will want to go back and read it as well. I think Peepsqueak is adorable and a fun character to know. This little picture book is full of repetition and fun and a great way to introduce numbers when talking about the differences between one and two. This book is also about having a circle of friends and how more is always better than one. Reading through each page on this journey while Peepsqueak searches for a friend to make him a pair is fun and I think that little kiddos will enjoy it in a storytime very much.
