My Very First Noah’s Ark Playtime: Activity Book with Stickers
Genre: Christian Activity and Sticker Book
Pages: 16 Paperback Saddlestich 8.25 x 10.5 inches
Date Published: April 2013
Publisher: Lion Children’s, Kregel Books

This fun activity book features puzzles, games, and the timeless story of Noah and the ark. The book also includes stickers that pair with the activities and encourage children to learn as they play. Cute and colorful collage illustrations that jump off the page will keep children engaged.

This handy book can be used during the holidays, on vacation, or just to fill the time on a rainy day.

This book is an amazing preschool unit study all on it’s on. From discussing the Bible story of Noah’s Ark to matching, observation (what’s different), counting, motor skills with big and little stickers and more there is plenty to do that I doubt your child would complete it all in one sitting. These are just my thoughts after reading through it alone, but I’m sure I’ll have more to say after showing it to my little one.

My three year old loves this and it is perfect for her hands in a hand dexterity exercise. While she cannot yet read the words that gives it a mama-interactive portion while she can then sit alone and stick the stickers in the appropriate places (she does know her numbers and can decipher which page they go on). The only caveat we have found is that my almost two year old was capable of then removing some of the stickers when we had walked away from it. They are permanent so most endured being ripped in half. So that was sad, but just goes to show that the permanent sticker books shouldn’t be left out!

It appears after looking at the publisher’s website that there are many other topics with similar books such as Christmas Story, Daniel and the Lions, Easter Story, Jonah and the Whale, Noah and the Ark (different from Noah’s Ark Playtime), Story of Jesus. Looks like hours of playtime are available!
