A young woman finds her life altered when she receives a letter that sets her on a new path toward a changed life–and perhaps lifelong love.

Marigold Montgomery Bentley writes marriage advice for Kipler’s Home Weekly even though she is single. Everyone assumes from the initials that “M. M.” is a man. When the editor asks to meet Mr. Bentley, can Merrie come up with a ruse to keep her writing job?

Ann Shorey is the author of the At Home in Beldon Grove series and the Sisters at Heart series. Ann and her husband make their home in southwestern Oregon. Visit www.annshorey.com for more.

When I’m in the mood for a short story I usually reach two different directions. One is toward eBooks, where often I’ve been finding a freebie here and there, and then the other direction is toward the newer oversize books from the Barbour Romance and Brides collections. Now a third and fourth option have popped up in from Thomas Nelson and Revell Books. The one to tell you about today is from Revell Books. Take two authors I adore and two authors I enjoy, and combine all four of them in one novella collection and you have a great book pile for anytime. It’s an especially great read for the spring holidays coming up if you’re travelling and need a short read.

Jumping right into the first story, “Moonlight Promise” was a great read. Romantic and enchanting with a bit of mystery and adventure. Each other story was found to be a good read as well. I hope that this is the first of many novella collections from Revell Books. It is a great start. It seems to me you can never get enough of a good author’s stories be it long or short.
