What was I up to this week?
Well, we started the week very dramatically. With 26 minutes of sleep in the night between Sunday and Monday, we then spent Monday morning in the pediatric emergency room involving a stomach virus diagnosis, IV fluids & medications for my petite princess OrangeBlossom. Tuesday continued with AppleBlossom catching on with all the symptoms and my jumping in with a pre-emptive strike before the worst parts with the miracle drug Zofran. Everyone else has had mild symptoms if any (I’m good thanks! Just a nurse-maid. 😉 ) and now all seems to be on the mend. We had school Wednesday successfully, but Thursday was a bit of a nagging to keep on task day. I’m not sure anything was accomplished. Alas. Better luck next week?
I’m still updating reviews. Last week you saw some Janice Thompson and Sandra Byrd updates. This week I have a few Tommy Nelson updates for you! Make sure to head back and check out anything you might have missed! I have a few more Janice Thompson books to update as well.
In other life categories. I can see our garden growing from our kitchen window and I’m eager to see how successful we might become with the idea of a kitchen garden. Maybe we’ll expand next year, or next crop growing season with other ideas and produce. The leaves have completely filled out in greenery and it was the perfect time to work through the Forest for the Trees Unit Study, the girls have loved it and learned so much! The summer months are upon us and we’re collecting free trial passes to local museums and I’m hoping to really get into the groove of planning what’s next in our schooling. Frontier Girls Clubs has really become a part of our life and we’re loving it! I need to update you all on that more. More time in a day!
