Fairy Tale Romance Collection by Melanie Dickerson {Review}
Today I have two specific reviews for you and more to come. I love omnibus books, if you haven’t heard me say it before I’ll say it now! I love collections and now Melanie Dickerson has a good handful of books (all stand alone worthy, never fear) of her fairy tale romances. Now you can buy them as one ebook for a bargain! In this collection, you can read a set of tales from Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Cinderella, and the Frog and the Princess. And soon, Melanie also has stories for Rapunzel, the Princess and the Pea, as well as a Robin Hood meets Swan…

Secrets of a Charmed Life by Susan Meissner {Review}
You may already know that my favorite genre is Christian Historical Fiction but did you know that my truly favorite stories to read are their own little sub-genre of a Christian Historical Fiction/Contemporary mix? Like that of Susan Meissner and Elizabeth Musser. Nothing grabs me in more than stories that bring you in and out of the historical context to a modern day to truly bring the characters alive and off the page. The Shape of Mercy and The Girl in the Glass are two such novels that I have read and enjoyed in recent years from Susan Meissner. I enjoyed the book and the first season, thus when a review opportunity came up from FishFlix.com ~ (http://www.FishFlix.com) to watch a DVD featuring Movie 3 from Season…

When Calls the Heart by Janette Oke {Review}
This is my first experience with Janette Oke, which had a lot riding on it because of the recommendations from my sister-in-law as well as the making of the movies, etc. I was pleased. It was a quick and enjoyable read. At first I did not like how it was written as a Dear so-and-so letter perspective, but I think that it works well, as if it is Elizabeth telling you the story, as to children or a friend. Love, patience, and waiting for God’s will not your own are very valuable lessons learned here, as well as to get out of your comfort zone to see what he has…
