Should I even try to look up to see how long it has been since I made a stitchy update on the blog? I mean beyond an Instagram re-post, an actually, hey this is what’s up with me and my needle post… hmm… Let’s not and just pretend I’ve been here all along. Well, in all honesty, since the last time I was rambling here I have had three finishes including In the Arms of an Angel (Lavender and Lace 47), Woodland Enchantress (Dimensions Gold Collection by Ruth Sanderson aka Christmas Fairy), and Patriotic Angel (Dimensions Gold Collection). This is in addition to the earlier finish of my oldest daughter’s Holly Hobbie (Bucilla) birth sampler which I believe I have shown you previously. Through out this year and last I have been stitching away, but things have been chaotic with taking a new avenue in our homeschooling methods as well. . .
There were those mornings during my pregnancy with the Mermaid Warrior where I was not up to being the homeschool mama that I wanted to be. Then it became those nights with a newborn and the mornings that followed. Now she is six months old, but we still nurse through the nice and my sleep is interrupted if not missing. (She is such a good baby, you guys!) The Princess has always been an early riser. To be fair, I have memories of getting up and going downstairs to turn on the TV to static waiting for the early morning educational shows to eventually come on. But back to today, she wakes up and starts to play and with her imagination or toy of choice there is either Legoes crashing, dolls chatting, vintage Littlest Pet Shop zoo escaping events, Little People race track races or something else just as noisy.. . .

We have fast come to love anything we get our hands on from the wonderful people at The Pencil Grip, Inc. and that holds true again with our latest discovery of Thin Stix Creativity Pack. We are so blessed to receive a 24-color pack to add to our art supplies for review. Today’s review post is a little bit different. I’m going to insert a short (less than five minutes) video to show you our set and some examples of art works that my girls have produced with it. The links included (above) are not affiliate links as were mentioned in my previous post, but a different store to show what all is available as requested by the wonderful vendor. Oh and while I’m on the past mentionings, don’t forget to check my review of The Pencil Grip. Now, back to it! Kwik Stix are amazing. We love our little. . .
For the record her sisters walked at 7-8 months, 8-9 months, and the Rascal walked at 10 months (but he had much more weight). Ha. I say weight as if my 30lb son weighs a lot. Haha. from Instagram: http://ift.tt/2A7WsCq
