Home again, home again…

avatar

Okay, so I’m home now and back to my computer. We had to jump and go to Georgia as my father-in-law passed away after a rough battle with cancer. We’re all very sad and still a bit surprised. In an update to AppleBlossom and OrangeBlossom’s health, both were sick off and on for several more days and then after a 3 AM Emergency Room visit for AppleBlossom followed by a two-day stint for myself to be violently ill… we’re going with stomach virus. However with the root canals and sinus infections having me on and off antibiotics in the last two years as well as the fact that I do not have a gall bladder I was set up for failure and was about 10x worse than the girls. (But thank God! they were not that sick!) AppleBlossom was fixed in about five minutes after some Zofran, so we’re all on the mend.

However, I’m about 3,000 emails in debt. So if you need me and I haven’t responded. Please consider that I haven’t seen your message and feel free to poke me again. :)

More sickness…

avatar

And now to follow up OrangeBlossom being sick on Wednesday. AppleBlossom is sick, today. Hopefully it will pass just as fast. OrangeBlossom was sick but then after lots of sleep seemed to wake up just fine and was dandy yesterday. Emesis basin anyone? *shudder* Yay motherhood!

And as my Enginerd ran out the door this morning, calling, “Have fun!”

[Update: Her illness was completely identical and gone just as fast!]

Blossom School: Tues & Wed, April 16-17th, 2013

CCC-JrK

I’m so tired today. Physical therapy was all I could make it to this morning as I missed Yoga. My bed just wouldn’t let me go. I’ve added back a  song that I mistakenly deleted from my playlist on the machines from Kelly Clarkson, (What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You) Stronger. I’ve decided that is my workout song, so appropriate. Yesterday was a bit of an odd day, I was expecting to have the fourth part of my route canal, but all we did was take an x-ray to see how the bone was healing and plan to come back … Continue reading

Croup

So, for an update. OrangeBlossom has croup. Steroids it is, and the fever is up and down. But we’re just dealing. Yesterday she was in my arms all day, today she’s all hyped up and crazy energetic. Gotta hate! love steroids in kiddos. But at least the swelling is down.

Today we went to the library for the first time this year. Continue reading

103.6

Today I fully intended to stay home for once, read hopefully a whole book (of my own) as well as children’s books for “school” and then maybe write a few reviews. But what was night before last a croup cough and no fever is now tears, coughing and a 103.6 for my baby OrangeBlossom. Our pediatrician is on vacation this week!!! No!!! So we have to see a substitute… *sigh* Relax on another day? We’re sick again… Tweet

DIY Crib Guard Rail Teething Cover Tutorial with snaps!

DSCF5136

OrangeBlossom is eating everything! Forget the teething ring, she wants cardboard and wood. So now both her crib railing and the toddler railing on her big sister’s bed are getting munched on. Thinking it’s not healthy and it’s definitely not pretty so I needed to remedy that!

In step a search and discovery! I found a good tutorial that I was able to tweak a bit to get what works for me. Continue reading

Just checkin’ in.

So I’m still here, but not really. The surgery went fine I suppose, as in I came through it. We still do not know why I was sick, although in the surgery they opened some sinuses to make them better able to drain and some other things. Apparently at surgery I had an acute infection. Right now I’m still medicated and trying to stop that without much success. We still need it apparently. Because of the medication and non-clarity, I’m trying not to blog so as not to ramble like a drug-induced silliness. So, with that I just say… thank … Continue reading

Toddler Beds

I just wanted to get on here today and write a bit of a post. The plan was come in here, type and leave. I’ve been in here a while now as email has attempted to swallow me. It’s a beast I tell you. Give it a day and you’ll never catch up. I’m so exhausted. The night before last we put toddler bed sheets on AppleBlossom’s bed. I took pictures, but haven’t hooked my camera up to the computer to download yet, so maybe you’ll see them one day. (Maybe I will too…) When I first started looking for … Continue reading
