BROWN LEATHERTOUCHÂ ($39.99 RETAIL VALUE!) My 365 Day Bible for 2019 Often I find that I am surprised when a spare memory from my 11-year-old self surfaces to my mind. I’ll spare you many details, but that was a year of wonder and I had an incredible Bible teacher at the private school I was attending. Mrs. Latham, or was it Dr. Latham? Either way, she introduced me to the task of reading a Bible…

Weave Your Word in Me (Bible Study) {Review}
Overall, I am very satisfied in my curricular choices, however, I have still been on the search for an appropriate Bible Study for us and now I’m intrigued to try Kid Niche Christian Books and their book Weave Your Word in Me — Part 1 for review. From what I am told and what I can see thus far, this program is compatible with the following Bible translations:Â KJV, ESV, NKJV, NIV, NASB, NABRE. From my college diploma Religious Studies I have collected quite a few translations. My daughter’s Bible is actually a HCSB, while mine is NIV and we have had no issues working through with these. This review…

This is a hardcover, jacketless Bible, perfect for your brick building, no matter the brand of brick minded child! When this Bible arrived I was unsure who was the most excited. Unwrapping the Pharaohs by John Ashton & David Down {Review}
Secular textbooks and videos discredit the biblical account of Exodus. Those who wish to defend the accuracy of the Bible now have an incredible tool—this book provides compelling confirmation of the biblical account. (90-minute DVD included.)

The Story of God’s Love for You by Sally Lloyd-Jones (Jesus Storybook Bible) {Review}
From the bestselling author of The Jesus Storybook Bible, Sally Lloyd-Jones introduces a book for teens that teaches them of God’s love. In the bestselling The Jesus Storybook Bible, author Sally Lloyd-Jones explored the connections and wonders throughout the Bible to show children how one giant love for humanity pointed to one small baby who would grow up to be the one perfect person who would make things right again for everyone. But that amazing story isn’t only for kids. Now, in The Story of God’s Love for You, the same award-winning, theologically rich, and sophisticated content of The Jesus Storybook Bible is available in a trade book format perfect…

ESV Journaling Bible {Review}
When I was in high school I was already doing a bit of a journaling thing in my Bibles, however not to the artistic ability that I’ve seen on blogs today with this new theme of journaling Bibles. I would look forever in the book stores just trying to find the widest margins. When I heard about the opportunity to be able to see one of these now is so exciting! When I opened the box though, my enthusiasm quickly dimmed. The book itself is good quality and many people will be thrilled with it. The margins definitely provide space to write and journal as artsy as you would like.…

The Ology: Ancient Truths Ever New by Marty Machowski (Systematic Theology for Kids) {Review}
A theology primer for children… Several years ago, I was introduced to the writing of Marty Machowski through The Gospel Story Bible. The illustrations were a bit loud for my taste, but the writing and the scripture coming across was solid and good for sharing with my children (who do appreciate the wild drawings). Then in the last year I discovered Long Story Short (a devotional) on Kindle. I’m hoping that one day I will also find Old Story New go on sale there as well. Now when I saw that a new book, The Ology was coming out I had to jump for an opportunity to review it. I’m so blessed that I am able.…

Brave Girls: Faithful Friends: A 90-Day Devotional {Review}
I was first introduced to Brave Girls through the storybook bible which we adore. Then we got pink t-shirts that are still a preferred favorite today. Yet after that, I got my hands on Faithful Friends a 90-day devotional. This is a little paperback book that is perfect for toting around and will fit in any little bag, I often catch it in my daughter’s backpack. There are illustrations, however in this book they are solely black and white. Faithful Friends is a devotional collection written for multiple different personalities and there is something for everyone within these pages. Each devotion will include: A relevant opening scripture from the Bible…

Apologetics Study Bible for Students {Review}
Hard Questions. Straight Answers. For Students! I recall back in 2008-2009 or thereabout when I first really heard the term apologetics and I was intrigued as I did not know it. Over the years I have come very familiar with the term and have incorporated it into my own studies as well as the plans for my own studies, young though they now may currently be in our studies with the Apologia What We Believe series. About that same time while participating in a blog tour I was introduced to Apologetics for a New Generation as well as The Unshakable Truth. It was later that I also found a documentary on…
