This week, theChristian Fiction Blog Allianceis introducing From A Distance(Bethany House June 1, 2008)byTamera Alexander Book was detained, I will read this and write a review and I cannot wait. Tamera is a finalist for the 2008 Christy Award Remembered, and has been awarded the coveted RITA® from Romance Writers of America Revealed, along with Library Journal’s Top Christian Fiction of 2006 Rekindled. This week, theChristian Fiction Blog Allianceis introducing Washington’s Lady(Bethany House June 1, 2008)byNancy MoserI definitely support Nancy Moser, but sadly this book never arrived. I still cannot wait to get my hands on it though! (Also, for many of the upcoming CFBA books did not arrive, some list error! But never fear I will get them and read them eventually and send a review your way…) What I can tell you is that I have read one of Nancy’s historical woman books… none other than Jane Austen! Just Jane was a very fun read. This is what I had to say about it: (Previous blog post) Jane Austen of course is legend to us today. Although I have heard some historical discrepancies from one or two things in this novel of her life, I really see this as a depiction that is the most true to how I see Jane’s. . .

Although I have heard some historical discrepancies from one or two things in this novel of her life, I really see this as a depiction that is the most true to how I see Jane’s life. Nancy Moser did a wonderful job bringing the light of Jane to a realistic picture for me and I could imagine every scene of her story. Day 2 on the April Christian Science Fiction & Fantasy Blog Tour of Monday – Wednesday, April 21-23rd is Lisa Tawn Bergren‘s book, The Begotten, book #1 in The Gifted Series. Dear Lisa, Last summer I worked in an embroidery shop in a historic downtown and there were many more “free” hours than there were customers and it was during that time that I discovered Christian fiction. I have to admit that your book was available from the library as a new book and I started reading it. I did not get very far, I stopped because it was so different and frightened me that it would be so like The Di Vinci Code with the heresy and blasphemy so I put it back. Now,. . .
