Apologia Astronomy, 2nd ed. {Review}

  Ever since the very beginning of my homeschooling journey, including the years before my first child was born I knew that I would be pursuing a teacher/book relationship with the Apologia Exploring Creation series from Apologia Educational Ministries  ~  (http://www.apologia.com/). As my oldest daughter got closer to the age where I felt she would really comprehend the texts I found myself excited and started collecting the entire series. Last year, we started studying Astronomy with the first edition book from Apologia. My daughter was working at her own pace through the junior notebooking journal and her little sister was always begging to color pages too. When the review slot for Apologia came around I jumped and begged and pleaded to be included in this review, and by the blessing of the crew and Apologia we were sent Exploring Creation with Astronomy, 2nd Edition in all it’s glory!  What is it? Apologetics Study Bible for Students {Review}

Hard Questions. Straight Answers. For Students! I recall back in 2008-2009 or thereabout when I first really heard the term apologetics and I was intrigued as I did not know it. Over the years I have come very familiar with the term and have incorporated it into my own studies as well as the plans for my own studies, young though they now may currently be in our studies with the Apologia What We Believe series. About that same time while participating in a blog tour I was introduced to Apologetics for a New Generation as well as The Unshakable Truth. It was later that I also found a documentary on Netflix and then the release of the Case for Christ Study Bible from Lee Strobel and Apologetics Study Bible, both of those for adults. At the time I reviewed the Apologetics Study Bible I already knew I wanted to get. . .

What on Earth Can I Do? (What We Believe, #4) {Apologetics Curricula Review}

*This post is updated with my new format on May 3, 2015. My decision to homeschool started before my first child was born and one of the things that I have had on my wishlist ever since (just waiting for it to be appropriate) is the apologetics curriculum from Apologia Educational Ministries ~ (http://Apologia.com). It is my blessing to have the opportunity to review the What on Earth Can I Do? curricula. In my experience, apologetics is something that should be a requirement of Christian education, but so often kids are left on their own to figure things out. Sure there is a bit of Sunday School that is give or take whether it is is more than just Bible stories, and you might find an incredible Bible study, but really getting into the nitty-gritty will help today’s Christians better understand, defend, and proclaim their beliefs in this age of increasing moral and spiritual relativism. What an awesome night! Praise God ✞

This evening I was completely blessed. One of the local churches that we have been attending quite a bit had a special Sunday, well really it’s been all weekend starting on Saturday and will continue in to tomorrow evening with several sessions by a special speaker from Answers in Genesis. This morning was good and full of information, but this evening the Enginerd stayed with the girls while they napped and then into the evening while I was able to go and put my whole attention and heart on the matters that were being discussed and I was able to truly digest the items from this morning as well. If you’ve been here at Creative Madness Mama for a while, you’ll already know that I enjoy and respect Answers in Genesis. But tonight really brought it all out even more and right now, I’m excited. I’m excited! I’m thrilled that. . .
