Stitchy spot, stolen…

I set up my stitchy spot and told my girls it was time for school. The middle girl (6) has disappeared with her brother (3) and PBS on the Kindle Fire. The oldest (8) jumped in my spot with HER cross stitch and said, “it’s okay, you can read to me while I stitch. After all, that’s all sorts of educational.” #xstitch #xstitchersofinstagram #flosstube #stitchmaynia #crossstitch #homeschool #homeschooling #homeschoolingmama #bucilla #bucillakit #myfirstcrossstitch from Instagram: http://ift.tt/2gQGWDF

January Craftiness…

Here is my January crafty, mostly in stitches and of course there are other projects I worked on that I didn’t photograph or that the photos went directly to FB groups. How was your start of he year? I already tackled February by jumping back in on a SAL. #xstitch #xstitchersofinstagram #crossstitch #pregnant #pregnantbelly #winter from Instagram: http://ift.tt/2klharG

Cross Stitch

The quilt was for my niece, SisterL’s #5. Now I am making a Baby Hugs Bunny & Bear matching sampler for my new nephew, SisterL’s #6. I’m also going to start a different one soon for my brother’s son (four months younger that AppleBlossom). And just started today, I’m going to make a birth sampler for my AppleBlossom. (I’ll come back to the boys…) this one just arrived in the mail. It could not be more appropriate or perfect. So how about it do you want to keep track of my journey with status photos?

Today, I’m…

… reading Eternity’s Edge by Bryan Davis, book #2 in the Echoes from the Edge trilogy and cross stitching ornaments. No, not at the same time. I have yet to figure out how to master that skill, I’m alternating. *grin* What are you up to today? I have recently found out that my sister is pregnant, with baby #5. Exciting!!!! So, I had to jump up go to the store and find a cross stitch quilt, because as I started a tradition with my first niece, now each of my nieces and nephews have one. So, now I get to make #7, and I have just about six months to do it! How do I fit that in with all the book reviews?!?! Ack! Niece #1 (Brother’s oldest daughter) received the “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” quilt. It was the first one that I made and took me 18 months to. . .
