The last couple of weeks I have been preparing myself for Christmas with my new favorite holiday CD and that is Chris Tomlin Adore, it’s a Christmas Songs of Worship CD. My review is posting much later that I had anticipated as life got in the way, but I absolutely couldn’t let this season go by without telling you how much I really have been and am still enjoying this CD. It’s funny, a day or two after I started listening, I noticed a song on the local Christian radio station was very great to sing along with and I shazam-ed it with my phone to discover that it was actually a song on the Adore CD! I was amused and delighted. I had been considering buying the individually mp3 I enjoyed it so much. Well, now after listening to the CD several times I have discovered that I truly. . .
When I started researching things that I wanted to implement into curriculum and start purchasing since I’d use them for years, one thing that kept coming up was Wee Sing. First it was mentioned, I think, in The Well-Trained Mind by Susan Wise Bauer and Jessie Wise. Then again I saw it often in the references and catalogs from Veritas Press. Then again in the Memoria Press forums and again and again. Then when I started into the Animal Play Curriculum it was Wee Sing Animals Animals Animals. I knew I would have to get my hands on these.

Also making appearances on the CD are Gerry and the Pacemakers, B. B. King, Davy Jones, Neil Sedaka, and Patti LuPone. Another Doo-Wop shop triumph for the authors of Rhinoceros Tap and Dog Train.

Five Little Bunnies from Twin Sisters Productions Genre: Children’s Board Book/Music Pages: 20 Board Book Date Published: March 2010 Publisher: Twin Sisters Productions Simple rhymes and delightful illustrations in this oversized board book teach young children numbers 1 to 5. The Music CD includes the recorded story plus 19 new and classic children’s songs! Things have been crazy with the move and pregnancy so this review is late, but not for a lack of love! Five little Bunnies is a delightful addition to our keeper shelf. I have tons of cassette tapes with fun songs on them from my childhood, but only one good tape deck yet a plethora of CD/DVD players. So the fact that this little board/shaped book comes with a music CD is in the gold column in my book! Not only is their a read-along track of the book, but there are also some great songs. . .
