The Blackstone Legacy by Elizabeth Camden {Trilogy Review}
I just downloaded a copy of Hearts of Steel and then I realized it was the third in a series. I set out to look, and sure enough discovered I had bought Carved in Stone as well as Written on the Wind with good intentions to read them. Oops. Quickly, I downloaded the missing books and set to read them. Gwen was a unique character and I thoroughly enjoyed her story. I found myself craving to go back and find out what would happen next with her and her lawyer connection when I had a moment to read. As per usual, I have lots of books on the go, and this one called me back time…

Flights of Fancy (American Heiresses) by Jen Turano {Review}
If you have been following my reviews in the Christian Historical Fiction genre for a while, you may have noticed that I do not have the time to read quite the quantity of books that I once had. Therefore, the quality of books I read is important to me. It has been a while that I have read a book that I found to be delightful from cover to cover and Jen Turano does not disappoint. The characters are clever and the witty banter kept me amused and turning one page after another. Every single book that I have read from Jen make me excited to go back and read…

Creative Madness of Historical Author Stacy Henrie!
I love the phrase “creative madness!” It describes me when I’m digitally scrapbooking and have to finish my page, or plotting out a scene in one of my books, or my husband’s recent approach to visiting Disneyland. 🙂 But I’m coming to realize that fervor of creative energy, in any area of our lives, can’t be the same all the time. We need time to rest, to muse, to breathe, to slow down. Some of my best ideas for my writing come when I’m not at the keyboard, but rather doing regular day-to-day tasks. This really hit home a few weeks back, when filled with “creative madness” about my upcoming…

Please welcome, Teen Christian Historical Fiction Author Rachel Coker
*This is a guest post written by Rachel Coker* Hello, my name is Rachel Coker and I wrote “Interrupted: A Life Beyond Words”. Actually, it feels really funny to write that. I remember when I was a little kid, daydreaming about the day that I could see a book sitting on my bookshelf with my last name on the cover. I never would have thought that day would come before my seventeenth birthday. I’ve always loved to write. When I was in elementary school, I had notebooks full of doodles and poems and little tidbits. But it wasn’t until I was in middle school that I recognized my gift for…
