CrossTimber Personalized Gifts {Review}

While working on the Homeschool Review Crew, I have discovered that most of the time we are reviewing homeschool helps and curriculum. However, every once in a while there is something that is just perfect for gift giving season and comes from a family company that fits right in with the values of our home life oriented family. This year, we have been blessed to discover CrossTimber and specifically their Personalized Framed Plaque with Name Meaning and Bible Verse. Through out the process of making decisions, placing my order, and even with some alterations needed to be made the customer service was phenomenal. John of CrossTimber was completely on top of things. He is very informative and had answers to all of my questions and didn’t rest until we were completely satisfied with our purchase. Originally, I wanted to order a Name Meaning plaque for my son with his first and. . .

Tuesday – triumphant finishing! {quilt}

I know I should wait for a Friday Finished post. But I’m too excited I have to share. My mom found a panel and fabric coordinates and I added borders and made it giant babbie (aka blankie) or small quilt for my friend Jen’s baby. I hope she’ll like it. I’m not jealous after spending all this time with the softness of the fabrics! If you’re curious. Something on sidelines that I do from time to time is personalized baby gifts, or just any gifts (embroidery, sewing and the like). I can also make winter scouting vests… and I have a few other products in the works. Just ask!

December Shari’s Berries perfect for any occasion!

[Links removed due to request from the publicist.] Next to November, December is my favorite month. Previously I would have told you it was because of Christmas and the festivity that started up after my birthday month, but now it is also to celebrate the Enginerd’s birthday. Ever since we got married I have had the hardest time picking gifts for him, whether for Christmas, birthday, anniversary or any other time because he works and I stay at home and technically any money I spend is his own so the idea of getting a present he might not love, well that’s uncomfortable. This year I totally nailed it with the help of Shari’s Berries! ETA: Enginerd quote: Nom nom nom. Huge. Nom nom. Chocolate. Great packaging. Arrived in perfect condition to be eaten. Oh my goodness, give me these for any occasion and I’ll be in pure bliss. I put. . .

November Personal Creation gifts perfect for Christmas!

November is my favorite month of the year. It could have something to do with my birthday, it might have something to do with autumn, and it might have something to do with Thanksgiving, it even might be that Christmas is just around the corner. No matter what the real reason is… I love November. Now this November is amazing with some gift ideas from Personal Creations. When I first started perusing the shop I was enchanted with so many things now to go on my wishlist! In my shopping cart when I left were a big sister and little sister doll set as well as a nativity cross to go on our wall and I am in love! Big Sister, Little Sister Dolls According to my daughters I chose well. While the color choice of yellow for embroidery was not exactly what I would choose these are beautiful and. . .

October Red Envelope Delights

[Links removed by request of the publicist.] It is getting closer and closer to the gift giving season and you have families like mine that includes birthdays as well as the Christmas season. Red Envelope has once again proven to be a worthy online shop for gifts for all types. This time I was blessed with elegant gifts including both a 2x double mirror compact engraved with my first initial “M” and a purse hook for when I’m out and about at places such as a restaurant. I had a square compact double mirror in my purse before but it doesn’t even compare to this one from Red Envelope. This compact mirror is round and absolutely beautiful. It has a design around the edges and the M is on top in the vented in a scripted font and it is absolutely beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for gifts. . .
