Emma and her puppy, Dixie, are inseparable after-school friends.
But when Emma starts preparing for her class’s production of The Wizard of Oz, Dixie feels left out. She wants to romp and play, but all Emma wants to do is memorize her lines in peace and quiet. Dixie does not understand.
Dixie, the mischievous puppy who is trying to be good, will be embraced by beginning readers.
Axel is a little truck with big, big wheels, and he races off to explore the rocky mountain roads. VROOM!

Lately I have spent a lot of time reading and researching Early Readers especially those from the I Can Read! series. It was the Christian ones that I first discovered through Zondervan and then later the quality general market titles from Harper, an imprint of HarperCollins. (Zondervan is a Christian division belonging to HarperCollins Publishers.) While this app only focuses on the specifically Harper titles for what it is, it is very neat! I am a visual list making person. It is for this reason that I enjoy Goodreads so much and have fallen for Pinterest as well. Having all cover images on a screen for me to choose from is delightful. Then also include a division of reader level and I am very satisfied. But… the app does not stop there. There is a sample reader page to help you choose the right level of difficulty between the Levels. . .
