Her books have been honored with the coveted RITA award from Romance Writers of America (the “Oscar” of romantic fiction), the HOLT Medallion and a Reviewer’s Choice award from Romantic Times BOOKreviews magazine. A Passion Redeemed by Julie Lessman: a review

A Passion Redeemed by Julie Lessman My review rating: 5 of 5 starsAbsolutely incredible writing with a story that keeps you going until the end. A great addition to the plot lines of the O’Connor clan and their attachments. I’d say that so far A Passion Most Pure is still my favorite, but only because I’m stubborn. This is definitely a book that could be enjoyed alone, but for the understanding and purposes behind it’s story I strongly urge any reader to start with the first book. So, with that said, let me tell you that I really struggled with this book. Not with enjoying it, no, I loved it. The characters are so real to me, and I can see and hear their tears as well as their giggles. I see the facial expressions and I get exasperated with their thoughts. The talent of Julie Lessman is clear and. . .

The Falcon and the Sparrow by ML Tyndall: a review

The Falcon and The Sparrow by Marylu Tyndall My review rating: 5 of 5 starsAbsolute on the edge of your seat, page turner, with unexpected twists and turns full of wonderful action until the end! The Falcon and the Sparrow is a masterful book taking place in London during the Napoleonic wars with France. The imagery presented by Tyndall is incredible. I could picture every scene, the people, places, and the food. I could smell the sea water and rain as well a hint of the other not so pleasant smells. London was given a full picture that agrees with all history I have known so far as being very accurate. After having recently seen the film “Amazing Grace” and reading the book Once Blind it was nice again in this story to see a dear friend John Newton. This book is incredible. It is definitely on my favorite list.. . .

A Passion Most Pure by Julie Lessman

A Passion Most Pure by Julie Lessman My review rating: 5 of 5 stars First for just a slight blurb review… Passion is an amazing gift that has been granted to us mere beings from our heavenly Father. It is a story set in Southie Boston and Ireland during the time of the First Great World War, but the issues broached are timeless in the worlds of men and women. When I first saw the cover of this book, it looked like something that I would enjoy. It was when I first got my hands on a copy and read the back and examined the cover in more detail, that I was fairly certain that this story was definitely something that I would enjoy. A Passion Most Pure is by far, one of the best books that I have ever read in my entire life. I like it better than. . .

DragonQuest by Donita K. Paul: a review

DragonQuest by Donita K. Paul My review rating: 5 of 5 starsThe ending of this book is absolutely fabulous! And as for the rest of the book, not too far off either. I was not able to read this book through as fast as I would like, as I was interrupted by a million different things. Yet, I’m so glad I was able to read it. Donita Paul really knows how to tell a story. Some characters you think you know until you don’t, and it is in an amazing way that you didn’t see coming. One of the things that she has put into her good vs. evil I have recently seen in a new book up and coming Beyond the Reflection’s Edge by Bryan Davis. It is amazing how things of the devil can look so much like the wonders of God, until you really look at them. . .
